Assistant Office Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Office Manager to support daily operations at Kubota Water and Environment USA’s Headquarters in Bothell, WA. This is a full-time, non-exempt position (limited to 9 months) and requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and team-focused individual capable of handling a variety of administrative and IT related tasks. The role involves learning new processes and using familiar administrative and software tools and techniques to consistently deliver results.

Responsibilities

  • Assist leadership with various administrative tasks daily.
  • Provide daily support to the Sales Manager.
  • Coordinate office logistics and facility maintenance as needed.
  • Organize and facilitate marketing-related events and promotional activities. 
  • Support accounting functions daily.
  • Communicate with external vendors regarding shipments and billing.
  • Manage inventory for both internal and external warehouses.
  • Handle administrative matters including IT-related tasks.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in IT and office software: Windows 11, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, PDF.
  • Reliable transportation for commuting to in office work.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Fluency in Japanese.
  • Advanced IT skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with domestic and international shipping.
  • Familiarity with accounting software, including SAP.

Salary

The pay range for this role is $23.00 to 28.00 per hour. The pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that include a candidate’s skills; experience; education and certifications.
